This is an ESL (English as Second Language) designed course provides an introduction to academic communications for students who will face the work place and society in biotechnology field. The aim of this course is to prepare students to succeed in complex academic communication tasks in speaking, writing, reading, and listening. This is a compulsory course for students to improve their skills in a biotechnology content area or taking further courses in Biotechnology related to the English resources.

  • Mampu mengakses (mencari dan bisa baca) sumber akademik berbahasa Inggris
  • Mampu menerjemahkan, menceritakan kembali serta menyederhanakan konsep-konsep bioteknologi dari buku/e-book, film/video, artikel sederhana, dan jurnal ilmiah bioteknologi dalam bahasa inggris
  • Mampu menerapkan pemahaman bahasa inggris dalam praktik bioteknologi serta dalam komunikasi akademik
