This course studies various literary approaches that stem from the basic contexts of criticism: Author-, Text-, Reader-, Other Text-, Society-, and Discourse –based criticism. The course requires students to apply these theories (perspectives, principles and procedures) in conducting critical analysis of different literary works in different contexts.
Capaian Pembelajaran
  • By taking the course, the students will be able to:
    1. describe the basic principles of research methods in ELT,
    2. select research topics in ELT,
    3. identify different kinds of research methods in ELT
    4. apply thier knowledge about classroom Action Research in
    designing a research proposal for their theses.
