This course provides students with a basic knowledge of classroom management which covers school philosophy, classroom procedures and rules, behavior modification, physical features of a classroom, teaching aids, school facilities, teacher roles and styles, teacher talk, teacher questions, and selected problems associated with classroom management.

  • Explain the definition and the principles of Classroom Management
  • Analyse models of cooperative learning for certain teaching and learning contexts
  • Analyse strategies to establish disciplines and consequences
  • Analyze strategies to develop effective teacher-student relationship
  • Explain the right mental set for establishing good classroom atmosphere
  • Analyse school-wide management policy significant for English classes
  • Apply classroom management strategies for English classes
  • Evaluate the implementation of classroom management.
  • Suggest some possible solutions for classroom management-related problems
