Deskripsi:
This course aims to provide students with practical ability to further enhance their transliteration skills which deliberately deal with any genre of literary works. The course’s gravity lies into supplying students with various literary translation practices which cover prosaic, dramatic and poetic translations from English to Indonesian or vice versa, on both children and adult literatures. As the course relies heavily on students’ creative minds and ideas, their extensive knowledge on cultural features of both English and Indonesian texts is simply required to settle many of those textual gaps, dissimilarities and or imbalance as students bring over one cultural (id)entity into another to compose acceptable translated texts.
