Deskripsi:
The basic physical properties of semiconductors: electrons and holes in semiconductors, Fermi Dirac distribution functions and state conditions, intrinsic and extrinsic semiconductors, donors and acceptors in semiconductors, nonequalibrium carrier properties, electronic transitions between bands in semiconductors, basic equations in semiconductors. Applications of semiconductors: diodes, transistors, ICs and LEDs. Types of semiconductors: basic semiconductors, compound semiconductors, narrow energy-gap semiconductors, wide energy-gap semiconductors, oxide semiconductors, magnetic semiconductors, polycrystalline semiconductors, amorphous semiconductors, organic semiconductors, and low-dimensional semiconductors. Characterization of semiconductors: electrical characterization, optical characterization methods, microscopy techniques, structural analysis, and surface analysis methods.
