Matakuliah ini membahas tentang konsep dasar, teori dan gaya kepemimpinan, budaya dan iklim organisasi, fungsi komunikasi, fungsi komunikasi, pengambilan keputusan (decision making) dalam organisasi; manajemen stres, manajemen konflk, nilai dan etika dalam kepemimpinan; dan pengembangan profesi kepemimpinan pendidikan. Pendekatan perkuliahan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis problem based-learning (PBL) yakni dengan melibatkan mahasiswa menganalisis karakteristik tipe/gaya kepemimpinan, faktor-faktor situasional organisasi sekolah, permasalahan, dan efektivitas kepemimpinan di sekolah, serta teknik kepemimpinan yang relevan sebagai solusi persoalan yag diohadapi oleh organisasi sekolah.
Capaian Pembelajaran
  • Menguasai konsep dasar kepemimpinan, khususnya kepemimpinan di bidang pendidikan, serta berbagai teori, tipe, dan gaya kepemimpinan
  • Mampu menganalisis karakteristik, perbedaan masing-masing teori, tipe/ gaya kepemimpinan, dan faktor-faktor situasional dalam rangka penerapan tipe/gaya kepemimpinan efektif lembaga pendidikan khususnya di ligkungan organisasi sekolah.
  • Memahami budaya, iklim organisasi, dan bagaimana pengembangannya di lingkungan organisasi sekolah; fungsi komunikasi, pengambilan keputusan (decision making) dalam organisasi; manajemen stres, manajemen konflk, nilai dan etika dalam kepemimpinan; dan pengembangan profesi kepemimpinan pendidikan.
