Matakuliah ini mempelajari tentang keterampilan memperhatikan (attending skills), mengamati (observing skills), menanggapi (responding skills) dan mempengaruhi (influencing skills) serta keterampilan pengambilan putusan melalui mindskills. Keterampilan tersebut antara lain terejawantah pada teknik komunikasi rapport building, acceptance, structuring, paraphrasing, questioning, reflection of feelings, summarizing, supporting, confronting, rejecting, information giving, advising, self-disclosing, empathy, genuine, unconditional positive regard, creating self-talk, rules, perceptions,visual images, expectation, explanation, dan terminating.
Capaian Pembelajaran
  • Mampu mengaplikasikan secara microskills dan terintegrasi melalui role playing teknik komunikasi
  • Menguasai konsep dasar komunikasi antar manusia
  • Menguasai prinsip-prinsip komunikasi efektif, komunikasi dalam konseling dan seting prakonseling
  • Mampu mendeskripsikan dan menganaliais keterampilan berpikir (Mindskills) yang diperlukan dalam pelayanan pembantuan (helping profession).
  • menguasai dan mengaplikasikan keterampilan memperhatikan (attending skills), mengamati (observing skills), menanggapi (responding skills) dan mempengaruhi (influencing skills) serta keterampilan pengambilan putusan melalui Mindskills.
  • Menguasai dan mengaplikasikan keterampilan teknik komunikasi opening, acceptance, restatement, structuring, clarification, paraphrasing, questioning, reflection of feelings and meaning, summarizing, supporting, confronting, rejecting, advising, self-disclosing, creating self-talk, creating rules, creating perceptions, dan terminating.
