Mata kuliah ini mengkaji tentang konsep filsafat pendidikan dan ruang lingkupnya, objek filsafat pendidikan (kurikulum, tujuan pendidikan, metode pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pendidikan), perspektif aliran-aliran fisafat pendidikan, pemikiran filsafat dan landasan berpikir filsafat dalam menganalisis masalah pendidikan-pendidikan geografi, dan telaah praksis pendidikan nasional dalam perspektif filsafat pendidikan
