Matakuliah ini memuat unsur: Sistem pendidikan secara global, baik situasi normal maupun situasi problematik dengan membahas topik substansi manajemen pendidikan; Kajian probematik lapangan secara mandiri dan lapangan berdasar penelitian orang lain di sekolah dan lembaga pendidikan lain beserta langkah-langkah pemecahannya dengan meode ilmiah. Pokok-pokok problematik diutamakan terkait kebijakan dan pengembangan manajemen pendidikan, dan arah kecenderungan dalam tinjauan masa depan. Mahasiswa secara perorangan mengusulkan topik (kasus) problematik dan berlatih memecahkannya dengan metode ilmiah.

Capaian Pembelajaran
- Mahasiswa bertaqwa Kepada Tuhan yang Maha Esa, menunjukkan sikap religius, menjunjung tinggi nilai kemanusiaan dalam menjalankan tugas berdasarkan agama, moral, dan etika.
- Mahasiswa menguasai pengetahuan konseptual dan praktis untuk mengenali issu-issu problematic dan pemecahan dalam komponen system manajemen pendidikan baik secara nasional maupun inernasional.
- Mahasiswa bersikap kritis, logis, dan sistematis, dalam konteks metode analisis problematik dan pemecahannya dengan memperhatikan dan menerapkan nilai-nilai humaniora pada bidang kajian manajemen, kepemimpinan, dan supervisi pendidikan.
- Mahasiswa terampil memecahkan problematic bidang manajemen, kepemimpinan, dan supervisi pendidikan berdasarkan kaidah teori dan tata cara dan etika ilmiah dalam bentuk hasil karya tulis ilmiah.
