This course is aimed at helping students understand the characteristics of chemicals, their changes as materials that make up the tools, and materials used in the laboratory through the basic concepts of chemistry so that students master the basic techniques of working in the laboratory by considering occupational safety in the laboratory.

• Understanding the characteristics of chemicals, particularly the concept of matter
• Understanding the characteristics of chemicals through the concepts of atoms and elements
• Understanding the characteristics of chemicals, particularly the concept of chemical bonds in ionic compounds
• Understanding the characteristics of chemicals, particularly the concept of chemical bonds in covalent compounds
• Understanding the characteristics of chemicals, particularly the concept of interaction between dipoles, ions, polar covalent molecules, and non-polar covalent molecules
• Understanding the characteristics of chemicals, particularly the concept of stoichiometry
• Understanding the characteristics of chemicals through chemical reaction concepts and chemical reaction calculations
• Understanding the concept of safety working in the laboratory
• Using various main equipment in the laboratory with attention to work safety
• Understanding various reagent manufacturing techniques with attention to occupational safety.
